I bought this shampoo looking for a lighter no nonsense shampoo as my hair was getting very oily and couldn't get it clean enough. After only two shampoos my hair is so light and clean. I am getting comments in town about the natural colour that is coming through. I owe these comments to the shampoo. It smells delicious, you only need a tiny bit so the cost is justified. My self esteem has soared due to knowing that this product does the job very time. Aveda has such beautiful organic products and i have not been disappointed thus far.

Ideal for

Fine hair, or looking for a cleansing shampoo to remove build up.

It does ok as a shampoo but I still haven't found one that does all that it claims. I have fine hair that gets oily after one day. It smells herbal and my hair feels great after, but there's no noticeable difference in volume. Maybe it works for you, didn't work for me.

Strong fragrance which became annoying after a while

I have fine hair which becomes limp soon after washing. To begin with, this shampoo was great and the fragrance nice but after a few washes it started to irritate my scalp. Perhaps it was the strong fragrance?

Smells awesome and does what it says on the bottle

I have fine, limp hair which just flops if I am using "regular" shampoo. I use this with the Aveda volumising conditioner and between the two, I find that my concave bob has a lot more bounce without drying out my scalp. It does cost quite a bit more than your supermarket brands, but you get what you pay for. It also makes your bathroom smell like a day spa =)
